The Vectron POS Modular offers a diverse selection of applications. These range from its use as a single station and network ECR to its print- and data server functions and special functions, such as the Kitchen Video controller.

Available in numerous versions and with different housings, the Vectron POS Modular is also suitable for use in a variety of operational fields thanks to its consummate flexibility. The compact base allows it to disappear beneath a monitor almost entirely. This POS system is also perfectly designed for wall or below-table installation.

The POS Modular is based on Vectron's tried and tested "embedded technology". Specially customized components, tailored specifically to ECR functions and compatible with 64-bit technology, ensure that service is performed quickly and safely, and also offer optimal protective functions.

Depending on its configuration, the Vectron POS Modular has memory capacity for up to 100,000 PLUs, 65,535 departments, 1,000 operators and 65,353 customers or guest checks. It can also be networked to up to 200 other POS systems and 100 printers.

Extensive interfaces

The POS Modular′s USB ports emphasize its future compatibility and serve as data back-up tools. Sensitive cash register data can be saved on a standard USB stick at short intervals, providing you with double the security at the end of the working day.

Fifteen interfaces are available for peripheral devices, including printers, scanners, card terminals, dispensing systems, scales, vending machines and cash drawers. Clerk and waiter locks, supplemental keyboards, mice etc. are also supported. It is also possible to integrate an ergonomic, optically harmonizing touch screen.

Flexible and easy to use

The POS Modular′s highly convertible software merges smoothly with existing processes. Freely assignable buttons, and those clearly identified with icons, ensure that it doesn′t take long to become familiar with the POS system. Smart keys linked to the various operating procedures, selection menus and display panels boost working speed and user-friendliness.

The POS Modular fulfils all the prerequisites for extensive back-office operations in combination with the optional Vectron Commander communications software. This supports the automatic transfer of turnover, order and working-hours data between POS and PC. It also transmits new PLUs, prices and operator authorizations to all networked POS systems in a time-staggered manner, ensuring that their functions are not limited in the process. The optional remote maintenance and troubleshooting functions enable rapid intervention by specialist staff or retailers as required.
